🎨 Thumb-stopping AD creative
In this section I will be highlighting a few stand out ads I came across during the week.
AD 1: Fabletics
“Founded in 2013, Fabletics brings the fashion-house approach into the activewear space. By fusing style-centric design with high-performance technology, we’ve evolved activewear beyond the gym, into every walk of life. Driven by our innovative VIP membership program serving over 2 million loyal members, we deliver premium quality at affordable prices with weekly new collections in sizes XXS-4X for women and XS-XXL for men.”

What sets this creative apart?
Strategic Approach:
Fabletics executes a brilliantly thoughtful AD by offering a woman's viewpoint on her admiration for her partner in these gym shorts. This not only offers an implied endorsement to men, highlighting that women appreciate the sight of men in these shorts, but it also serves as a convenient gift idea for women seeking the perfect present for their partners.
Appealing to Desire:
Everybody aspires to appear attractive to their significant other or to a potential love interest. This AD effectively markets how wearing these shorts can amplify a man's appeal to the opposite sex.
One of the most striking phrases is: “I catch all the girls in the gym looking at him when we are there”
Demonstrating Value:
Everyone understands the common problems associated with gym shorts, such as a phone slipping from the pocket, an ill-fitting waist, and a less-than-flattering silhouette for the legs. This AD does a great job of demonstrating how this short solves all ones woes by showing the man working out whilst using the product.
AD 2: TALA
“Ultra flattering activewear that you'll feel good in, and good about. upcycled, recycled & natural materials. 2XS - 4XL”
I wanted to give a shout out to award winning entrepreneur Grace Beverley for her recent Tennis themed active wear product launch.
The creative, the timing and execution was on the same level as brands 10x TALA’s size and it’s inspiring to see.
I’d recommend checking this campaign out across their channels.
